The survey also showed, the valley has a total of 51643 reservoirs, the total capacity of 360600000000 cubic meters. Hydropower stations 19426, installed capacity of 190380000 kilowatts. In the basin a total length of nearly 130000 km dike, 22330000 rural water supply projects, the total beneficiary population of 268000000 people, 249000000 acres of irrigated area, groundwater wells in 33000000 eyes, the total groundwater quantity of water 7300000000 cubic meters of groundwater sources, 160.
Survey content also includes the economic and social development situation, rivers and lakes water governance, water and soil conservation etc..
